A voter in Arkansas is eligible to vote absentee on Election Day for the following reasons:

– The voter will be unavoidably absent from his or her polling location on Election Day

– The voter is physically unable to visit his or her polling location on Election Day due to illness or disability

– The voter is a member of the Armed Forces

– The voter is a citizen living temporarily outside of the United States

Arkansas Registration Requirements

To register to vote in Arkansas you must:

• be a citizen of the United States

• live in Arkansas at the address in Box 2 on the application

• be at least 18 years old before the next election

• not be a convicted felon (or have completely discharged your sentence or been pardoned)

• not claim the right to vote in any other jurisdiction

• not previously be adjudged mentally incompetent by a court of competent jurisdiction
