“Why Christians Should Support Israel” with Dr. Jeff Myers

On October 7th, Liberty University’s Standing for Freedom Center will be hosting a stand for Israel event for students and the community to honor the 1,139 people who lost their lives in the brutal attacks on Israel by Hamas last year.

The event entitled Why Christians Should Support Israel will explore why supporting Israel is not just a political issue but a vital biblical, historical, and moral responsibility for Christians today.

Dr. Myerswill discuss his recent book, “Should Christians Support Israel” and unpack this topic through the lens of history and a biblical worldview framework. Through firsthand accounts and rigorous analysis, you’ll hear a unique perspective on the current Israel-Palestine conflict and have a chance to ask questions during a townhall style Q&A.

Whether you’re seeking answers for yourself or looking to discuss the issue with others, this event will provide essential insight. 

Each person in attendance will receive a free copy of Dr. Myers’ book.

Speaker

Dr. Jeff Myers is the president of Summit Ministries. As an educator and entrepreneur, Dr. Myers has become one of America’s most respected authorities on youth leadership development. Through his speaking engagements and media appearances, Dr. Myers has become a fresh voice offering humor and insight from a Christian worldview. He is the author of 18 books, including Understanding the Faith, Understanding the Times, and Understanding the Culture textbooks which are studied by tens of thousands of students. Dr. Myers holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Denver. He continues to engage college students through an exclusive Signature Leadership Course series offered with Unbound, a project-based education company that prepares high school and college students to become leaders for Christ in the real world.
