LGBTQIA+.
As the sexual revolution marches on, its acronym grows with it. Now, the letters are well-known or intuitive enough: Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. But what does the “+” stand for?
We are finally finding out: The “+” stands for pedophilia (and more). In fact, it always has, but now it’s becoming painfully obvious.
In a shocking turn of events, the United Nations recently released a report calling for the decriminalization of sex with minors.
Published on International Women’s Day, the report is titled, “The 8 March Principles for a Human Rights-Based Approach to Criminal Law Proscribing Conduct Associated with Sex, Reproduction, Drug Use, HIV, Homelessness and Poverty.”
The report was written by the International Committee of Jurists (ICJ), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in order to consider the “application of international human rights law to criminal law.”
Referred to as the “8 March principles” for short, the report clearly calls for offenses related to “sex, drug use, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, homelessness and poverty” to be decriminalized.
And this includes offenses related to sex with children.
The report makes this very clear. First, they begin by making an entirely “consent-based” moral argument for the permissibility of sexual activity, writing, “Consensual sexual conduct, irrespective of the type of sexual activity, the sex/gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression of the people involved or their marital status, may not be criminalized in any circumstances.”
This sets the stage for their attempt to justify pedophilia. How? Because if you argue that the only thing that matters when it comes to sex is “consent,” then they can argue that a minor can, in fact, consent to sex with an adult.
Which is exactly what they do next, explaining:
“Moreover, sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex may be consensual in fact, if not in law. In this context, the enforcement of criminal law should reflect the rights and capacity of persons under 18 years of age to make decisions about engaging in consensual sexual conduct and their right to be heard in matters concerning them.”
Now we know what the “+” stands for — legalizing pedophilia. The “+” should be a “P,” as that would be far more honest.
The honest truth is that legalized pedophilia — among other forms of sexual immorality — is where the sexual revolution has been heading for decades now. Because once you sever sex from marriage, procreation, biology, and any foundation of morality other than mere consent, there can be no stopping that train. The brakes are cut. The “+” stands for pedophilia, yes, but also much, much more.
Along with this shocking report, you will have spotted, if you pay attention to the news, an uptick in both stories about pedophiles caught in the act and what appears to be a full-court press to “normalize” talking to minors about sexual activity. Fox News recently reported, “Gates funds millions to NGO claiming kids born sexual, 10-year-olds should learn about ‘commercial sex work.’” The New York Post reported, “At least 6 female teachers arrested for sexual misconduct with students over two days across US.” Or consider the horrific story of two homosexual men who abused their adopted children by molesting them and even making child pornography with them.
The LGB leads to the T. And beyond the T, it leads to a P — pedophilia.
This is what gender theorists want, after all. Critical gender and queer theorists have, for years, been arguing that the “oppressive” structures of religion and the modern family prevent children from fully exploring their sexuality in all the various, sundry, and sinful ways that they should be free to pursue.
In fact, the “Godfather of Queer Theory,” Michel Foucault, “argued in favor of pedophilia because the traditionally patriarchal society establishes oppressive sexual norms based upon heterosexual dominance. Therefore, children are able to give consent to sexual relations, and both children and pedophiles are only denied sexual experiences by the oppressive heterosexual oppressors.”
And Foucault practiced what he preached — he was known for repeatedly raping young boys in Tunisia.
Here is the point: If you’ve watched as our country and culture slide down the slippery slope of the sexual revolution, from legalizing sodomy to legalizing gay marriage to normalizing transgenderism to making “trans kids,” and you think that we won’t end up legalizing pedophilia in America in the next few years — you are sorely mistaken. The United Nations already has the legal justification ready to go.
So how should Christians respond? As pastor and theologian Joe Rigney explained:
“He who says A will say B. He who says L, G, B, will say T, Q, +. The move from one to the other is just what cancer does when left untreated. Part of our task is to help regular Americans see the organic connection between same-sex mirage and the transgender insanity. The Left is trying to use cultural acceptance of LGB to press for TQ+.
We must labor to use the human recoil against TQ+ to roll back the wicked custom of LGB. This will require the same kind of intentional, patient, and courageous clarity that has marked the pro-life movement for 50 years and led to the overthrow of Roe. And a conservatism that is unwilling to conserve the most fundamental institution of human society is worthless.”
Christians must be on the frontlines of the fight to prevent the “+” from coming to fruition in our society. We do that by rejecting the roots of the entire project: The T, B, G, and L. All of it. We know that all of it is a sin before our Holy God and that no just society should tolerate the legalization — let alone the celebration — of damning and destructive sexual sins.
Still, when it comes to the question of protecting our own kids and all American children, there needs to be exponentially elevated levels of concern and action. This is no time to say, “live and let live” or “not my problem.” As Jesus Christ warned,
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
–Matthew 18:6
We already know that millstones are being fitted for many of the workers at the Mouse House and Disney World, with their admission of grooming kids with a gay agenda. But many more are being fashioned as well for teachers across the country who are trying to push a radical LGBTQIA+ agenda on their students — both in theory and, most evilly, in practice, as we saw from the examples above.
Christians must be on the front lines of rolling back this wicked agenda — in the schools, in the media, in the courts, and in the culture.
Too many brothers and sisters in Christ were duped by the argument that “what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home isn’t our problem.” Well, when what those adults are doing no longer stays in the home, but gets put on Main Street during Gay Pride Parades or put on television shows in the form of children forced to look at naked transgender adults, guess what? It is our problem.
It’s said that “knowing is half the battle.” Well, now you know where this is headed. The United Nations said the quiet part out loud.
We must resolve to “not be worthless” as conservative Christians in politics. We must lead a push to recover sexual sanity in our nation, a pro-marriage, pro-family, and pro-children movement that rolls back the LGBTQIA+ agenda, starting now, before the “+” really takes off. Because once it does, it won’t stop at pedophilia — because it can’t.
